Announcing the Winners!

thanks to:

The rules were simple: email me with your scariest story - fact or fiction - and the three that scare me the most will take the prizes. A few conditions applied:
- The story must be your own, original composition.
- If you want to win, keep it suitable for G or PG - i.e. go easy on the excessive violence, sex or explicit language, etc..
- Your story must be no longer than 1500 words, however you won't ruin your chances if you go slightly over. Keep it under 2 - 2½ pages, that'd be nice.
- Your story must contain the following words scattered throughout: break, iron, time, early, year.
- If you'd like to illustrate your story (optional), please send/embed one illustration only (This illlustration must be your own work).
- Your story may be sent as a word document, txt document or email message.
- Email the story to storyteller@biteycastle.com
- The competition ended on Friday July 23, 2004 and winners were contacted by email in August.
Thanks to all who entered the competition and made it a success, and Congratulations to the winners.
